Susu kambing termasuk bahan pangan alami yang mengandung nilai gizi tinggi, namun cepat mengalami kerusakan/kebusukan bila tidak ditangani dengan tepat dan cepat. Kerusakan susu dapat disebabkan oleh berkembangnya jumlah bakteri dan metode penyimpanan yang tidak tepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat cemaran bakteri pada susu kambing peranakan etawa (PE) di Desa Aikmual Kabupaten Lombok Tengah. Penelitian ini menggunakan 5 sampel susu yang dijual oleh peternak, penelitian bertujuan untuk melihat tingkat cemaran bakteri dengan metode Total Plate Count. Hasil yang diperoleh menjukan semua sampel mengandung bakteri, tetapi ada tiga sampel yang mengandung bakteri melebihi SNI.
