Peran Pendidik Dalam Mengembangkan Motorik Halus dan Kasar Pada Anak Usia Dini di Kelompok Bermain

Abstract: This article aims to describe the role of educators in developing fine and gross motor skills in early childhood at KB Permata Hati using a qualitative approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation of learning activities involving children aged 3-5 years. The findings indicate that educators play a strategic role in designing and implementing activities that stimulate children's motor development. Activities such as dancing, constructive play, drawing, and educational games are creatively used to balance children's small and large muscle growth. However, challenges such as limited media, narrow spaces, and lack of training in motor learning strategies were also found. These findings highlight the importance of training and institutional support to enable educators to create developmentally appropriate and engaging motor skill activities for young children.
Abstrak: Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran pendidik dalam mengembangkan motorik halus dan kasar anak usia dini di KB Permata Hati dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi terhadap kegiatan pembelajaran yang melibatkan anak usia 3-5 tahun. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidik memiliki peran strategis dalam merancang dan mengimplementasikan kegiatan yang menstimulasi perkembangan motorik anak. Aktivitas seperti menari, bermain konstruktif, menggambar, dan permainan edukatif digunakan secara kreatif untuk menyeimbangkan perkembangan otot besar dan kecil anak. Namun, ditemukan pula hambatan seperti keterbatasan media, ruang gerak, serta kurangnya pelatihan pendidik dalam strategi pembelajaran motorik. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya pelatihan dan dukungan kelembagaan agar pendidik dapat menciptakan kegiatan yang relevan dan menyenangkan guna mengoptimalkan tumbuh kembang motorik anak usia dini.
