EFEKTIVITAS PENYELENGGARAAN PENDIDIKAN DAN ALTERNATIF PENDEKATAN PENELITIAN EFEKTIVITAS

tujuan untuk memperoleh perubahan, baik dalam aspek kognitif, psikomotorik, maupun
afektif. Belajar sebagai suatu proses yang dilakukan dengan sengaja adalah proses yang
dilakukan secara sistematis, dengan tujuan tertentu yang hendak dicapai. Ketercapaian tujuan
belajar menjadi salah satu indikator keberhasil proses belajar yang dilakukan. Belajar dalam
konteks ini dilakukan di lembaga-lembaga pendidikan formal, dari tingkat SD hingga
perguruan tinggi. Dan isu mengenai ketercapaian tujuan belajar di lembaga-lembaga
pendidikan tersebut akan selalu menjadi tema yang menarik untuk dipelajari. Sekolah tidak
hanya berisikan siswa yang menjadi konsumen utama proses belajar, tapi juga terdapat
komponen-komponen lain yang saling terhubung dan membentuk sebuah sistem. Bertanya
tentang ketercapaian tujuan penyelenggaraan pendidikan juga berarti mempelajari tentang
bagaimana komponen selain siswa dapat mencapai tujuan yang telah ditetapkan. Tulisan
singkat ini mencoba memberikan sebuah elaborasi mengenai konsep efektivitas lembaga
pendidikan dan pendekatan alternatif yang dapat digunakan untuk mempelajari efektivitas
tersebut. Efektivitas akan dipotret dari seluruh komponen yang ada di sebuah sekolah, dan
pendekatan penelitian efektivitas yang ditawarkan mengkombinasikan antara berbagai konsep
penelitian efektivitas yang tersedia.
