PENGAWASAN KEDISIPLINAN PESERTA DIDIK DI SMK N 1 JEJAWI KABUPATEN OGAN KOMERING ILIR

Abstract: This article is entitled Supervision of Student Discipline at SMK Negeri 1 Jejawi as for the reason behind the author taking this title because based on observations made at SMK Negeri 1 Jejawi, there are still some undisciplined students such as: (1) Students who are still arriving late to school, (2) Students who wander outside the classroom during class hours; (3) Learners who are not dressed neatly, do not wear full school clothes, and wear accessories too much; (4) The way students dress that is not in accordance with school regulations such as pencil-shaped pants for men and for women make up is too much and wears short and tight skirts; (5) Learners who are still smoking at school; and (6) Go home from school without permission or move away. Having a problem formulation, namely how to supervise the discipline of students at SMK Negeri 1 Jejawi This type of research is qualitative, which is a field qualitative research.The approach method used is descriptive qualitative research. The collection techniques are observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. To check the validity of the data, researchers use source triangulation. The results showed that the supervision of student discipline at SMK Negeri 1 Jejawi has been carried out with direct supervision and indirect supervision. However, it is still not optimal because only a few teachers play an active role and participate in supervising the discipline of students carried out by the principal, student representatives, BK teachers, and picket teachers. This is caused by the teacher in charge of not carrying out his duties, lacking intention to control students, not providing motivation about discipline, not providing appropriate punishments, and still not understanding his duties not only as an educator but also as a guide and coach of students. So that causes there are still many violations that occur in schools.

Abstrak: Artikel ini berjudul Pengawasan Kedisiplinan Peserta Didik di SMK Negeri 1 Jejawi adapun yang melatar belakangi penulis mengambil judul ini karena berdasarkan observasi yang dilakukan di SMK Negeri 1 Jejawi yaitu masih terdapat beberapa peserta didikyang tidak disiplin seperti: (1) Peserta didik yang masih dating terlambat ke sekolah, (2) Peserta didik yang berkeliaran di luar kelas pada saat jam pelajaran; (3) Peserta didik yang tidak berpakaian rapi, tidak menggunakan pakaian sekolah secara lengkap, dan memakai aksesoris terlalu berlebihan; (4) Cara berpakaian peserta didik yang tidak sesuai dengan peraturan sekolah seperti celana berbentuk pensil bagi laki-laki dan bagi perempuan make up terlalu berlebihan dan memakai rok pendek dan ketat;(5) Peserta didik yang masih merokok di sekolah; dan (6) Pulang sekolah tanpa izin atau minggat. Memiliki rumusan masalah yaitu bagaimana pengawasan kedisiplinan peserta didik di SMK Negeri 1 Jejawi, Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif, yang bersifat penelitian kualitatif lapangan. Metode pendekatan yang digunakan yaitu penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Adapun teknik pengumpulan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Untuk mengecek keabsahan datanya, peneliti menggunakan triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pengawasan kedisiplinan peserta didik di SMK Negeri 1 Jejawi sudah dilaksanakan dengan pengawasan secara langsung dan pengawasan tidak langsung. Namun, masih belum optimal dikarenakan hanya beberapa guru yang berperan aktif dan ikut mengawasi kedisiplinan peserta didik yang dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah, wakil kesiswaan, guru BK, dan guru piket. Hal itu disebabkan oleh guru yang bertugas tidak menjalankan tugasnya, kurang niatan mengontrol peserta didik, kurang memberikan motivasi tentang kedisiplinan, tidak memberikan hukuman yang sesuai, dan masih kurang memahami tugasnya yang tidak hanya sebagai pendidik namun juga sebagai pembimbing dan Pembina peserta didik. Sehingga menyebabkan masih banyak pelanggaran yang terjadi di sekolah.
