Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini menyelidiki peran guru Bimbingan Konseling (BK) dalam mempertahankan motivasi belajar siswa di SMAN 5 Surabaya dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif studi kasus. Berdasarkan teori motivasi Maslow, Deci dan Ryan, Bandura, serta Weiner, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa intervensi guru BK secara signifikan meningkatkan motivasi intrinsik dan self-efficacy siswa. Guru BK berhasil menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang mendukung, memberikan dukungan emosional, dan membentuk atribusi positif, yang secara keseluruhan berkontribusi pada peningkatan motivasi dan prestasi akademik siswa. Temuan ini menekankan pentingnya pendekatan personal dan dukungan emosional dalam proses pendidikan.
