Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu penjelasan guru dalam mengajar yang bersifat
monoton, gaya mengajarnya yang bersifat membosankan, mengakibatkan siswa kurang aktif disaat
proses belajar, sehingga hasil yang diperoleh kurang efektif. Salah satu untuk mengatasi masalah
belajar dengan menggunakan strategi the power of two , Strategi ini memungkinkan siswa untuk
belajar berkelompok dengan memanfaatkan potensi interaksi dan kerja sama antar siswa. Ketika
proses belajar berlangsung, siswa dapat berdiskusi dan saling membantu memahami materi. Dari
sini diharapkan motivasi belajar siswa dapat ditingkatkan. Rumusan masalahnya yaitu Apakah
Ada Pengaruh Strategi The Power Of Two Terhadap Motivasi Belajar Siswa Kelas VIII Pada Mata
Pelajaran Aqidah Dan Akhlak di MTs Darudda’wah Kelep Kecamatan Sekotong Tahun Pelajaran
2019/2020? Tujuan penelitiannya untuk mengetahui Strategi the power of two terhadap motivasi
belajar pada mata pelajaran aqidah dan akhlak Kelas VIII di MTs Daruddah’wah Kelep Tahun
Pelajaran 2019/2020. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen. Metode pengumpulan data
menggunakan metode angket sebagai metode pokok, observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi
sebagai metode pelengkap. Metode analisis data menggunakan analisis statistik dengan rumus Chi
square. Hasil analisis yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini adalah ð‘¥2 hitung lebih kecil dari
pada ð‘¥2tabel (7,384 < 9,488), dengan taraf signifikan 5%. Demikian penelitian ini tidak signifikan.
Ini berarti hipotesis alternatif (Ho) diterima dan hipotesis alternatif (Ha) ditolak. Kesimpulan yang
diperoleh dalam penelitian ini adalah: Tidak ada pengaruh Strategi The Power Of Two terhadap
motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran aqidah dan akhlak di MTs Darudda’wah Kelep
Kecamatan Sekotong Tahun Pelajaran 2019 / 2020.
