PENGARUH METODE PEER TUTORING MELALUI PENDEKATAN SAINTIFIK TERHADAP AKTIVITAS BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATA PELAJARAN BAHASA INDONESIA

Bahasa Indonesia merupakan salah satu mata pelajaran yang wajib diajarkan dalam setiap jenjang pendidikan di Indonesia. Kemampuan berbahasa harus dimiliki oleh sertiap peserta didik untuk mentransfer ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi. Berdasarkan alasan tersebut, masalah dalam penelitian ini guru mengalami kesulitan dalam menggunakan dan menentukan metode pembelajaran sehingga mengakibakan rendahnya pemahaman akan materi pembelajaran di kelas. Oleh karena itu, metode peer tutoring akan peneliti uji melalui pendekatan saintifik terhadap aktivitas belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia kelas VII di SMPN 3 Pujut Lombok Tengah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan metode peer tutoring melalui pendekatan saintifik terhadap aktivitas belajajar siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen. Metode angket sebagai metode pokok dalam pengumpulan data, observasi, wawancara dan dokmentasi sebagai metode pelengkapnya. Adapun hasil penelitian ini adalah signifikan, yaitu nilai thitung 3,160 dan nilai ttabel 2,080 dengan taraf signifikan 5% (3,160>2,080). Hal ini berarti, hopotesis (Ha) diterima dan (Ho) ditolak. Jadi, simpulannya terdapat pengaruh dengan menggunakan metode peer tutoring melalui pendekatan saintifik terhadap aktivitas belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia.
