ANALISIS PERBANDINGAN ROUTING PROTOKOL OSPFv3 DENGAN RIPng PADA JARINGAN IPv6

IPV6 dikembangkan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan alamat IP untuk jangka panjang sekaligus menyempurnakan berbagai kelemahan yang ada pada IPv4. Dengan adanya IPv6 maka dibutuhkan routing protocol yang mendukung jaringan IPv6. Routing protocol adalah komunikasi antara router-router, routing protocol juga mengijinkan router-router untuh sharing informasi tentang jaringan dan koneksi atar router. Dalam proses routing memiliki beberapa metode, diantaranya adalah Distance Vector dan Link State. Routing Information Protocol (RIP), merupakan contoh dari Distance Vector dan Open Shortest Path Frist (OSPF), merupakan contoh dari Link State. Penelirian ini disusun untuk mengetahui Analisis Perbandingan Routing Protocol Ospfv3 Dengan Ripng Pada Jaringan Ipv6, dengan menggunakan network simulation GNS, Kedua routing protocol tersebut dianalisis berdasarkan pengujian pengiriman paket, Table Routing dan Database.Hasil analisa perbangdingan antara kedud routing protocol menunjukkan routing protocol RIPng lebih baik daripada Routing Protocol OSPFv3 dilihat dari pengujian pengiriman paket menggunakan printah ‘ping’ dan’traceroute’.
