PENGARUH MEDIA GAMBAR DALAM MENINGKATKAN PEMAHAMAN BERHITUNG PADA MATA PELAJARAN MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS II SDN 3 LEPAK KECAMATAN SAKRA TIMUR

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengupayakan peningkatan pemahaman berhitung melalui penggunaan media gambar Pada Mata Pelajaran Matematika siswa kelas II SDN 3 Lepak Timur Kecamatan Sakra Timur Kabupaten Lombok Timur. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut dilakukan penelitian dengan menyajikan pokok bahasan operasi bilangan khususnya soal cerita yang menggunakan media gambar, selanjutnya memberikan tes hasil belajar, serta mengamati proses belajar mengajar yang dilakukan guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian eksperimen yang bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh penggunaan media gambar dalam meningkatkan pemahaman berhitung pada Mata Pelajaran Matematika siswa kelas II di SDN 3 Lepak Kecamatan Sakra Timur Kabupaten Lombok Timur Tahun Ajaran 2015/2016. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan t-test, yaitu diperolehnya to = 2,953 yang ternyata lebih besar dari “t†yang tercantum pada tabel nilai “t “ (tt abel 5% = 2,05 dan 1% = 2,76), maka dapat disimpulkan 2,05 < 2,953 > 2,76. Artinya bahwa secara meyakinkan dapat dikatakan penggunaan media gambar telah menunjukkan efektivitasnya yang nyata, atau dapat diandalkan sebagai metode untuk meningkatkan pemahaman menghitung siswa pada mata pelajaran matematika siswa kelas II SDN 3 Lepak Kecamatan Sakra Timur Kabupaten Lombok Timur Tahun Ajaran 2015/2016.
