Etnomatematika mempelajari hubungan antara matematika dan budaya lokal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi penerapan konsep matematika dalam pembuatan kue abuq yang merupakan ciri khas Suku Sasak di Lombok. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dalam tiga tahap: reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Validitas data diuji melalui triangulasi sumber, teknik, dan waktu, serta pengujian reliabilitas. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kue abuq tidak hanya memiliki beragam bentuk dan variasi, tetapi juga mengandung makna budaya yang signifikan.
